This is for the average looking girls you really blow my mind. There's so much fun we could do if you have time. Are you alone? Do you need a ride? Well I hope. Yeah I hope. This is for that average looking girl. With a scarf around your neck. There's a skip in your walk, this evening, and your smile beats the Mona Lisa. And I cope. Yeah I cope. -So zip up the top of your coat! I know a place we can go in the snow. The stars are so bright they shine right through you. I'll put rose petals in your wet footprints. we'll make snow angels where the fur trees are growing. So come on lets get this started if you'll zip up your parka come on let's get this started just zip up your parka not later right now, not later right now. This is for the average looking girls. With the real-butter thighs. I had to laugh when you told me, that I'm a role model for other guys. Cause I mope. Yeah I mope. And this is for those average looking girls, who are progressive in your views. You're a gift to my life, you're not consumed. I'm a fool for the way you see right through the news. And I know, that you know.

One Good Egg 04:39
One good egg, one good egg, what we need is one good egg. Walk on out now, to say my shout is out. No longer dreaming, in the bits. I want to say the name, I think she knows. I think she knows. One good egg, one good egg, what we need is one good egg. I won't let them shake things up. I won't let them put shame on it. Walk on out now, our shout is it. I won't let them, put shame on it. One good egg, one good egg, what we need is one good egg.

Wolfy Clues 07:38
Dry mouth, wet my taste with a little bit of comfort. Oh dripping fangs be all the power to chew. A-whoo-ooo I'll teach my cub to howl at the moon and with a little bit of practice he'll be chewing and gnawing and singing that tune soon. A-whoo-ooo And who has been sleeping all winter? And who has been hiding in caves? And who has been climbing up trees? And who has been feeding for days? Just us. We're halfway brave. In a pack, we find strength that you cannot trespass We caught this deer to nourish us and keep our blood blue, a-whoo-ooo I'll teach my cub to howl at the moon and with a little bit of practice he'll be chewing and gnawing and singing that tune soon. A-whoo-ooo And who has been sleeping all winter? And who has been hiding in caves? And who has been climbing up trees? And who has been feeding for days? Just us. We're halfway brave.

Tired Song 03:20
We're tired, we're broke, we're bitter. Well, we've been overlooked so long. We're tired, we're broke we're bitter. Well, we've been overworked and wronged. We're wired on coke and glitter don't you know that we're down by law.
5.
I used to be young inside but I've been shut down. All bums scream young, but their hearts read a hell of a down. This room is boxed in, what's it to me, yeah? If your knees are shaking like angry willows you're going to need some hope. Hollow jeans looking to build a home. Gonna hold on to that and make you smile. Did they break your rut? Well they were Halcyon. Not fit to lead you, I'm not looking to die young. I'm gifted with this second sight, it's not a choice. I take them off when I get tired, that's my given right. They're scratched up. What's it to me, yeah? Called up and served right, still going to make you smile. I've got a needle on a wax line. I'm just breathing like I need to. Years go by and I'm still green, I want to be high. I want to be dry, I'm just a fledgeling. Transform.

How hard it shakes, it's almost insane, when a truck drives by, so the bridge won't break. And like the tunnel after Vale. Come inside from the snow. Light the darkness with the torches of a thousand plankton burning boats. Is the promise still real you can make it on the road? There is no redemption in going alone. No one to bless you when you stumble. You can never win if nothing is real. You'll wind up on drugs, born-again, or both. And if you come back, as an alabaster cat. Scratch and perch on the stairs, but never catch a red light. How hard it shakes, it's almost insane, when a truck drives by, so the bridge won't break. There is no redemption in going alone. No one to bless you when you stumble. To bring you down when reality shifts. You'll wind up on drugs, born again, or both.
7.
How real does it have to get? You fucked me in my heart. Do we have to keep on plucking this chicken? Can we get over it? How real does it have to get? You fucked me in my heart. Got a big ol' can of gasonline, gonna burn down the whole damn lawn. How real does it have to get? You fucked me in my heart. But I'd still love you, All night long. Well I've always had a dirty mind. And even when I'm acting sweet. It's in the back of my head. What is and isn't good for me.

Cold Waves 07:00
Your cold waves crack me up against the rocky cove. You already drove, got to sleep. Numbers glow, bumping tunes and making miles. Wide-eyed and high. Close to free. The surf is so peaceful in it's geometry. but mostly just beats away, we're afraid. Heart kick thump, I guess I'm stumped... But the crashing is a welcome break. I want to be there long before the autumn flies, but oh what a desert, these distant fires have between us. Every jingle is just a matter of emotion. We're mindful of our moment, dimming under tired eyes. I can't help it. I've got my eyes on my child. Keep growing on. I heard a new sound beaming down from outer space. Now it's my favorite tune, because it made my place. Is it really bold? To self promote and water your own gold? There's nothing quite as old as a child that's well past grown. We rest in locomotion. We're driving home too slow. We're feeling pre-historic.
9.
Well you tried to take the ol' shortcut now you're stuck in the mud and shit out of luck. Every turn you take is wrong, ya been working so hard waiting for a map. Sitting around, gotta fix up this truck. You can't drive the truck, when the truck's fucked up. Wherever you are is where it's at. Scraping up noodles in a goodwill hat. If you talk to me I'll talk for an hour, You can't turn around to the other route. Took a wrong turn down Jungo Road, two flat tires broke and busted, bro. Guess you won't make it to burned out man, goddamn, you gotta learn to plan, man!
10.
You've just done the last thing you will ever do. You were caught unprepared, had natty hair and in your underwear. You've just done the last thing you will ever do. You poured a glass of water. Took a deep refreshing drink, and had an aneurysm. You've just done the last thing you will ever do, it doesn't even matter. Never hiked across the Gobi, Now you're sulking on a sunbeam. A drop of water on a leaf, reflects those rays of golden. A bus of tired kids, rolls home on what was your favorite road. You've just done the last thing you will ever do. You were climbing on a ladder. In your favorite shoes hanging Christmas lights. Your last climb, your last night. You guessed it that was it. I guess you had too much brandy. Feeling cheerful for a change, thought maybe things would work out after all. You've just done the last thing you will ever do, at your pub it's happy hour. Red nose and cheeks are turning blue. Your sotten life's gone blurry. An icicle is on the gutter, reflecting in your eyeline, a framed picture in the windowsill of last Christmas with your kids.
11.
How many times will you jog down Cemetery Road, and not see the stone that bears your father's name, 'neath a granite rose? You came down to this town, to teach at the high school. Swore you'd never leave, or run around looking for a drunken screw. By the time you noticed your kids had grown, ivy had covered that unkept stone. Always running you'd run right past, living your life as a throwaway child. Your youngest is in your class. You love your life but it's fleeting. You wanted a stable home; your childhood left you bitter and needy. Oh, won't you drink from the fountain? Oh, won't you drink from the fountain? You're running faster than you've ever ran before. There's a wrinkle in the corner of your eye, that tightens when you think of dying. You wonder if your daddy's still alive. He'd be eighty-five. Would he be proud of his girl, that he left behind? You're old and slow and looking at a stone, you just walked by. His name jumped out and caught your eye 'neath a tall ellum. He died in July, the year you were born. It says: "he fell building the dam that keeps the fountain".

Lost in the Dreamtime Map Star kisses at your back I don't mean to crash it's the lights that swerve me off. Rotting coyote on the ground. is an old friend of mine. I'd miss him if not for the dark after he dances the last rays down. And I believe our plans are as pure as the well washing the dirt from our faces. It's running down, we're wearing our mud crowns, la-dee dada. It takes a mountain to hold us down. Rocky crags or a grassy mound. We might never get to see the world baby, at least we can hide out here in the cracks. Lost in the dreamtime map. Star kisses at your back I'm trying hard not to crash, it's those lights that swerve me off. And I believe our plans are as pure as the well washing the dirt from our faces. It's running down, we're wearing our mud crowns, la-dee dada. We were homeless living it out. The cruel bank will foreclose on your house. A wrong turn down a sandy road, and we found water and built our home. And like our coyote we will last our love flies like the wind in pinyon ash we'll dance the skies until the light cradles down and the sun dies and cries no more. Lost in the Dreamtime Map Star Kisses at your back I don't mean to crash, it's the lights that swerve me off.
